For The Stables, The Old Rectory, Doddington
General Access
Access off the tarmac drive of Doddington Hall is through a Five Bar (10 foot 6 inches / 320 cms wide) Gate which is kept closed at all times, and then 30 yards of gravel drive way.
Access to The Stables
Access to the cottage is up two (7 inch / 18 cms) steps to the back door and three (7 inch / 18 cms) steps to the garden door.
Doorways
All doorways throughout the property are a standard 2 foot 4 inches / 73 cms wide.
Floor Coverings
The hall way, kitchen and utility room are tiled; the back stairs to bedroom 3 are stone, and the bathroom is cork tiled. There is a runner on the main stairs. All other areas have fitted carpets.
Stairs
The rise on the main stairs is 8 inches / 20 cms with a 90 degree turn at the bottom. The rise on the back stairs is 9 and a half inches / 24 cms with a 90 degree turn half way up. Each stair has one banister. The back stairs have a protective gate at the top in bedroom three.
Bathroom
The bathroom has an over-bath shower requiring a 22 inch / 56 cms step over the side of the bath.
Downstairs Loo
There is a separate downstairs loo and wash basin off the utility room.
